Volunteer Sign Up
Teens ages 10 and up are welcome to volunteer! Learn more about how the library works, gain experience for resumes and future jobs, or earn hours towards a school assignment or service project. Common volunteer projects include helping us take care of the library collection, helping prepare for library programs, and sharing your ideas and input as a part of our Council of Activities for Teens. We love our adult volunteers! Adults 18 and older are welcome to volunteer at the library. Volunteer tasks vary but may include helping to take care of the collection, straightening books, preparing for programs, and more. Complete an application and someone from the library will get back to you.
This application is for folks who live in Skagit County but outside of a library service area and are interested in completing four volunteer hours instead of paying the out of district fee. Once you complete your volunteer application, please come by the library to get signed up for a card and discuss your next steps.
