Summer Reading June 1st - August 31st

Summer Reading is here! We have challenges, events, and prizes for all ages. So, whether you are under a year old or over 100, we have something to keep you engaged this summer.

Click the images above to check out our monthly calendar for what is going on from June through August, or see what each age category has in store below!

Ages 0-4:
  • Get ready for a summer full of reading, exploring, and prizes! Complete 5 squares in a row on your BINGO card, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, to earn a mini animal fidget surprise or a board book and have a tree planted in your honor at a local park. Feeling ambitious? Complete a full Blackout by finishing every square on the card to earn another mini animal fidget surprise or board book! Need a little flexibility? You can always substitute any activity square with 10 minutes of reading instead. Every page turned helps your imagination grow, and helps our community grow, too!

Ages 5-9:
  • Turn your summer reading into something wild! Complete 5 squares in a row on your BINGO card, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, to earn a mini animal fidget surprise, or our book trading cards, and have a tree planted in your honor at a local park. Want an even bigger challenge? Complete a full Blackout by finishing every square on the card to earn another mini animal fidget surprise or more book trading cards! If there’s an activity square you’re unable to complete, no worries, you can substitute it with 30–60 minutes of reading instead. Read, explore, and help grow both your imagination and your community this summer!
